Sunflowers. If you love sunflowers and classic cars, you would have loved this wedding. Everything about the Williams wedding was so simple, but the kind of simple that is perfect and beautiful in every way. Between seeing beautiful sunflowers at every turn, getting to drool over the bride and the groom endlessly giggling in front of the coolest car ever, and watching four adorable flower girls dance around the bride, I was in love. Most importantly, the greatest thing about these two was their desire to have a Christ-centered marriage and the emotion they showed while sharing their vows. You could hear from their voices and see from their eyes their strong passion to not only commit their lives to each other but commit their relationship to God. Right when I thought my heart had been filled with enough happiness for the night, there was one more small incident that took place. That night, the reception ended with Michaela and Preston running by sparklers held by all of their beloved friends and family. As they hopped in her grandfather’s beautiful old car to begin their journey together, she looked over at me and said, “thank you so much Allison, you’ve been amazing” while I was taking the very last photo of the night. You might think it’s silly, but I’ll never be able to describe to you how happy I found myself during that moment. Out of all of things a bride could say and out of all of the people she could have spoke to before beginning the most important journey of her life, she chose to share that moment with me. So with that being said, I love documenting love more than words could ever explain.
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Preston Williams.
