Last year, Chelsea and Quinton contacted me asking me if I would be open to shooting their elopement near the Smokies. I was immediately freaking out because at the time, I had only photographed two elopements and my heart was severely longing for more. Plus, who ever gets tired of roaming around the mountains?
If there is one thing I can say about this couple it would be that they have an undeniable and uncontrollable love for Jesus Christ and it shows so bright through their relationship. I can without a doubt say that Quinton provided Chelsea with the most intimate, spirit-filled vows that I have ever heard.
“I promise to not only love and cherish you, but to love and guide you in the way our Creator has commanded me to. I promise to be the head of our family and lead us not just from victory, but to victory as the Spirit guides me. Not only do I plan to honor God in all things we do for the better of life here on this Earth, but also honor you as we adventure through this life unto eternity, walking you home to our Father in Heaven. I pray our marriage is a reflection of Christ’s love and grace for us to our families, friends, and all people we cross on our journey. I couldn’t be more blessed with the Godly woman and helpmate the Lord has given me. I love you sweetheart. You are my dove, my helper, and my rib.”
Chelsea and Quinton have also given me so much support in so many ways. Not just for my work, but most importantly they have encouraged me to continue to stand strong in publicly sharing my faith. To Chelsea and Quinton and to every bride and groom I have ever had and ever will work with in the future, I want you to know one thing. There is one thing that creates a fire in my soul, brings tears to my eyes , and is more meaningful to me than anything else in this world. That one thing is when you tell me you can at least see the smallest glimpse of love from Jesus Christ radiating from my heart. Because without Jesus Christ, I am nothing. And all I want is for the world to see how indescribable His love is.
